iDklic announces the creation of a new pharmacy network with Life Pharma. This project will allow iDklic, specialists in Digital Signage within Belgian pharmacies, to gain its first access to a network of independent outlets, thus further increasing its presence in the pharmaceutical market.

Life Pharma Scrl, has grouped independent pharmacies in Belgium since 1962. Its objectives include providing its members with a group identity, offering them specific services and the ability to benefit from economies of scale, supply chain management and procurement expertise. In 2009, Life Pharma consisted of a group of more than 300 pharmacies. With its members, Life Pharma develops communication strategies and initiates partnerships with pharmaceutical companies. It also provides support in training and technological management.

In July and August 2010, iDklic started deploying digital signage networks in the group’s pharmacies, bringing high-tech digital displays to 100 locations and launched Life Pharma TV on September 1st, a channel solely dedicated to member pharmacies’ network. By the end of August, 40% of the playlist were already commercialised. This new network aims to inform pharmacy customers, to optimise the pharmacy space and to provide the ability to efficiently manage sales objectives. The network content includes informative health care videos, advertising and promotion. Each pharmacy network includes a screen and a new promotional Life Pharma display at the counter where products that appear on the screen are also present – thus being easily available for customers. iDklic predicts the remaining 200 pharmacy networks will be equipped by the beginning of 2011.

iDklic is in charge of managing the entire project: deploying the necessary technology, selling advertising space, and creating thematic messages that are displayed. “We chose iDklic for its experience and know-how in the pharmaceutical sector” Robert Walnier, CEO of Life Pharma, said. “iDklic is a reliable partner and will allow us to stay focused on our core tasks while it manages our digital signage network.” Walnier added: “ we are hoping for a ROI of 18 months and we deemed iDklic the perfect partner choice to help us achieve that goal due its to vast experience in the field.”

With this new partnership, iDklic now has access to a network of 500 pharmacies in Belgium and becomes the leader in the sale of advertising airtime in pharmacies. Jean-Charles Figoni, CEO of iDklic, pointed out that his company is also initiating contact with giants of the European pharmaceutical sector, with hopes of deploying networks in France, the UK and Germany. “As with any other big objective, we are aware of the patience and hard-work required but we are strongly aiming to become a European leader in both digital signage inside pharmacies, and in the sale commercialization of advertising space” he later added.
